Any assistance with troubleshooting the problem of connecting with other players to one's own server would be greatly appreciated, but the prior problem of Singleplayer functionality still persists. How might I remedy this and troubleshoot to where I can actually run the game? Any insight or help would be duly appreciated!Įdition: I got the Multiplayer to work last night by designating everything correctly however my friend is seemingly unable to join. Whilst that is one problem, the main one (which also occurs on attempt to launch Singleplayer mode and is the biggest bother to me) is an error message I receive when attempting to launch said mode: "Fatal Exception caught: (UniverseServerException) Could not acquire lock for the universe directory". Multiplayer is currently unavailable because I need to determine my server account and password. However, I'm unable to do Multiplayer or even Singleplayer currently. I was just recently gifted this game and I wanted to run it.
